In case you didn’t hear, Bellator put on a show last night with one of the their top up-and-comers, Michael Venom Page…
He gets compared to Anderson Silva a lot. He has a flashy style, fights with his arms down, goes for the sniper knockouts…
But remember that Anderson was making top contenders look like newbies for years, whereas MVP is actually fighting newbies.
But when it comes to crushing cans, nobody compares to MVP. Hopefully he gets a bigger challenge soon, the problem is that even if he makes it to the top of the Bellator roster he still hasn’t’ been tested against any of the top fighters in his weight class.
Anyways, we’re not here to throw shade on MVP, he’s still relatively new to the game and there’s nothing wrong with building up a prospect slowly. Also his fights are always fun as hell to watch.
