No opponent has been announced yet, but names like Andre Berto, Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez all make a fair bit of sense. It’s also still possible that the itch may return for Mayweather, who claims to have retired following his bout with Berto, in which case the biggest option for both men would be a rematch.
A Pacquiao vs. Bradley rubber match could be the curtain call for PacMan.
Of course, it is also possible that Pacquiao isn’t done yet. Should Pacquiao lose the election, he won’t exactly have to worry about being a diligent civil servant and will have no reason not to cash eight-figure checks three times per year.
