Slice’s next opponent is a man by the name of Dhafir Harris, better known as Dada 5000. No, I’m not joking.
This is Dada 5000, via one of his YouTube videos.
That name may not ring a bell with MMA fans around the world, but Dada 5000 is essentially the same character as Kimbo. Mr. 5000 first rose to note by competing in backyard brawls on YouTube and, get this, actually worked as Kimbo Slice’s body guard for a time. After a while, he left Slice’s posse in order to promote Slice-style backyard fights in Miami, which boosted his profile to the point where he starred in the Netflix documentary Dawg Fights.

Don’t let that photo fool you, though. Dada also has two professional MMA bouts to his name, with both fights ending via first-round knockout win. That said, he hasn’t competed since 2011.
