Gawker, meanwhile, has not yet made a statement.
That said, this case is most likely far from over. Gawker.com is almost certainly going to appeal the ruling and there’s a good chance they can have those damages reduced. It is unlikely that they’ll be able to have the ruling overturned, however.
We’ll see how this pans out. Either way, big win for the Hulkster.
