While he’s skeptical of Kanye’s seriousness, he isn’t closed off to him as a candidate. “I don’t like the guy, but I’ll listen to his views and I’ll listen to his politics,” he said. “And if he’s got the guts to put himself out there and run, I will have a totally different opinion of him.

Sonnen’s sudden call-out is, unsurprisingly, perfectly timed. Business has picked up for the CEO of Bad Guy, Inc., with word breaking that he will be (temporarily) joining the World Series of Fighting commentary desk. He also has his ongoing pro wrestling beef with fellow former fighter Phil Baroni in Global Force Wrestling. Oh, and he may or may not be set to face former UFC heavyweight champ Josh Barnett in a grappling match in Metamoris.
That’s a lot on Sonnen’s plate but he always seems to find time to talk. Sonnen isn’t above apologizing, though, so if 2021 rolls around and President West is preparing to be sworn in, he may have to get used to the taste of foot in his mouth.
