I mean, let’s be honest here. There’s no reason to think Conor McGregor is on steroids any more than any other mixed martial artist. Diaz’s accusations fit into the general “me against the world” mentality of the Diaz Bros. and, if anything, McGregor’s difficult weight cut down to 145 pounds makes it less likely that McGregor would be on steroids, since adding even a little bulk could make it impossible for him to reach the featherweight limit.
That said, McGregor has definitely bulked up in a big way since winning the featherweight title. He has packed on lots of muscle and anybody looking to accuse him of using steroids can point to the before-and-after and turn some heads, guaranteed.
Steroids or no steroids, though, they’re going to put fists to faces at UFC 196 next week. Get excited for that!
