Unfortunately, while Rousey no longer holds the UFC title, the odds of her ever facing Cyborg are still close to nil. Cyborg remains the Invicta FC featherweight champion and refuses to move down to 135 pounds (which, of course, probably isn’t a bad idea since she’s got a tough cut down to 145).
Unfortunately, this is still pretty much just a pipe dream…
Cyborg is likely going to stay in Invicta, crushing cans or possibly taking on a “superfight” opposite somebody like Invicta FC bantamweight champ Tonya Evinger. Rousey says she’s coming back for a rematch against Holly Holm.
When, where or if that actually happens is unknown, though.
