Conor McGregor’s Title Will Not Be on the Line in His Next Fight

MMA

Immediately after UFC 194, a video hit the internet showing UFC owner Frank Fertitta freaking out following McGregor’s 13-second win over Jose Aldo. Not freaking out with excitement, either. The video showed Fertitta jumping out of his seat and spiking the UFC belt into the floor in in a fit of rage.

Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta didn’t seem all that happy about Conor McGregor winning the title.

While it seemed a few months back that the UFC was 100% behind McGregor, rumors have popped up that McGregor is looking to completely destroy the UFC’s established business model with huge contract demands. That’s not a bad thing, of course, but the fact that McGregor has forced his way into a lightweight title fight when UFC President Dana White expressly stated that he would have to vacate the featherweight title in order to get one is telling.

Conor might be looking to break the UFC’s bank!

In all likelihood, the UFC is being forced into this matchup, and they are most certainly unhappy about it. The UFC hasn’t made a champion vs. champion fight since BJ Penn vs. Georges St-Pierre 2, and they most likely don’t feel great about this one.

Who does feel great about this? Who else doesn’t? Check out the next page.
