Remember when Conor sparred with The Mountain?
Conor McGregor has the opportunity to hold two UFC belts at the very same time. He had to pull some strings to get into this position, but but that he’s here – he wants to make it count. The only way this KO could jeopardize the fight is if Conor doesn’t give himself enough of a chance to recover it happens again in camp, or the doctor notices signs of a concussion during the pre-fight medicals.
Just a reminder that that’s just a rumor, it has not been confirmed by anybody inside of Conor’s gym, but it’s the big news of the MMA world today none the less.
Next up:
The Nevada Athletic Commission finally held their hearings to dish out punishments for the water-bottle throwing incident leading up to the McGregor Diaz rematch. Conor ended up with 25 hours of community service, a 25k fine, and they are recommending that he takes a course in media training.
Media training? That’s pretty strange. Not Nick Diaz lifetime or 5 year ban levels of strange, but definitely strange.
Does Reebok make orange jumpsuits?
They were also supposed to have the hearing to dish out punishment for Jon Jones over his drug test issues, but that remains up in the air. His team and Jones himself have mentioned on multiple occasions that they’re very optimistic that this is going to blow over, but we’ll see.
