It’s common for fighters from other organizations to make their way into the UFC, only to find out that the level of competition is way tougher than they ever anticipated, and to get demolished before being sent down to the minor leagues again. For somebody with no MMA experience to last an entire year in the sport’s toughest organization is definitely worth mentioning.
So this is a shout out to CM Punk who signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC just over one year ago, and still hasn’t lost a single fight inside the octagon.
Ronda Rousey has a loss on her record and CM Punk has none. Let that sink in for a second.
Who will be the first opponent to face these kicks of thunder?
In a recent interview on OTR, Dana White said that CM Punk will definitely be fighting in 2016. Here are some possible opponents:
Joe Rogan – If Joe could pass a drug test, he could probabally beat CM Punk too. Joe’s got a legitimate blackbelt in BJJ and a nasty kick.
Fedor – CM Punk would be a less ridiculous opponent than anyone else who’s been rumored to go against Fedor on NYE.
Dan Henderson – If they want Hendo to keep headlining shows, he needs a win every now and then.
Ronda Rousey – You’d watch.
