Fighting in mixed martial arts can be a family affair if you’re a Diaz, Shamrock, Pettis or Nog just to name a few. There’s been a handful of brothers competing in the UFC and Pride over the years, so we decided to cherry pick a few of them to see which fight people would be most interested in seeing. There’s something about two brothers fighting that just make the stakes seem that much higher, in the movie Warrior there was at least. Before anyone gets too upset, this is completely hypothetical and there’s absolutely no chance of any of these fights ever happening (Except maybe Shamrock vs Shamrock…)

Anthony vs Sergio Pettis
Maybe in a few more years once Sergio has had a chance to develop as a fighter.
Ken vs Frank Shamrock
This fight was probably pretty close to happening at least a few times. Who say it can’t still happen? You never know…
Little Nog and Big Nog
Dana White is pushing for Big Nog to hang up his gloves and retire after suffering a scary knockout from Big Country. Maybe one more fight first…?
Shogun and Ninja Rua
The Rua brothers have both had long careers after competing side by side in Pride, however in his 15 fights since then Ninja didn’t manage to squeak into the UFC.

You have to wonder what the fights would be like, for example could Sergio Pettis actually stand a better chance than some of the current contendors in the weight class by virtue of knowing Showtime’s weaknesses?
