You’ll Never Believe What Anderson Silva Is Doing After His Notorious Broken Leg

Articles

Anderson Silva may not have a lot of weight on both legs yet, but he does have a lot of things on his to-do list. Let’s summarize. He wants to return to the UFC in 2015, he wants to fight Roy Jones Jr. in a boxing match, he wants to star in Hollywood movies, and now there’s one more thing that Anderson wants to do – and it’s to join the LAPD. It kind of makes sense that one of the toughest fighters would be interested in joining one of the toughest police forces, but could you imagine being pulled over by Anderson Silva? Here’s the exact quote from Anderson himself…

I train every morning, take my kids to school and go to the police school,” Silva said in an interview with Folha de Sao Paulo in Brazil. “I’m studying at the Los Angeles School Police Department. I’m studying to become a police officer.

Half Human

After snapping his entire leg in half on Chris Weidman, Anderson immediately had surgery which included the insertion of a big steel rod into his leg. Silva is already on his way to becoming The Terminator, basically.

The Family Business

Anderson Silva isn’t the first police officer in his family, the Silvas have a long history of law enforcement. “It’s a personal wish, something that will make my uncle happy,” said Anderson. “He thought it was a little weird that I’m not doing this here [in Brazil], but it wasn’t the right time. My brothers are police officers, my nephews are police officers. It’s a family thing.

One Suggestion…

Can we suggest that if this  doesn’t work out, Anderson would make a great bounty hunter? I would take Dog The Bounty Hunter at my door over Anderson Silva any day of the week, with or without a functioning leg.
