Chyna defied many of the traditional conventions of women’s wrestling, typically competing against men and often winning. She is the sole woman to hold a non-women’s title (holding the Intercontinental Championship twice for a combined 64 days), the only woman to compete in a King of the Ring tournament and one of just three to compete in the Royal Rumble. She is remembered as a staple of the Attitude Era due to her status as a founding member of D-Generation X.
