Undertaker’s WrestleMania 32 Opponent Announced at RAW…and It’s a Big Surprise

Wrestling

The WWE has been teasing the “Vincent J. McMahon Award” (named for Vince’s father, who founded the WWWF, the company which would eventually become the WWE of today) for a few weeks now, trying to get fans asking “who would win this completely random award?” Longtime fans, however, knew that this was all to set up an angle.

Who could win such a prestigious award that they just made up last week!?

The winner wound up being Stephanie McMahon. The angle? Shane McMahon, a staple of the Attitude Era who feuded with the likes of Shawn Michaels and Stone Cold Steve Austin, didn’t like the direction the company was headed in, and took issue with Steph being rewarded at a time where ratings and stock prices are falling precipitously.

Shane demanded control of Monday Night RAW and Vince obliged…on one condition. The condition, of course, is that he has to win a match. A match at WrestleMania. A match with THE UNDERTAKER at WrestleMania. A HELL IN A CELL MATCH with THE UNDERTAKER at WrestleMania.

So what does this mean? Who should you expect to win? Find out on the next page.
