Tyron Woodley: Gina Carano is the only rival that Ronda Rousey would return to the Octagon to fight

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey retired from the competition after a TKO loss to the current 135-pound champion Amanda Nunes, on December 30, 2016 at UFC 207. Before that, Ronda suffered defeat at the hands of Holly Holm, by a KnockOut which caused Ronda Rousey to lose the championship.

Ronda does not appear to be returning to the octagon to fight however, according to UFC Champion Tyron Woodley, there may be a rival Ronda will consider competing against, and that opponent is the popular retired fighter, Gina Carano. Tyron talked about this with TMZ Sports (via MMA Mania):

Tyron Woodley: “Gina Carano, maybe. I think she’s the only person with a name big enough to make her go back to fight. She’s not a fighter like Amanda Nunes, who’s been shredding them all, not like those promising fighters who are coming.”

“(Ronda) has a very well-known name, she has to fight with someone who is at her height.”
