The WWE Keeps All Of Their Old Wrestling Tapes In a Nuke-Proof Vault Hidden Inside a Mountain

“It’s literally a cave you walk into and there’s water dripping,” said Bryan Staffaroni, the WWE’s Head of Media Technology. “To see all of this wrestling footage just sitting there in the middle of a cave and there’s this deafening silence is pretty cool.”

Not only that, but this vault that’s built into the side of a mountain is also fire-proof. If there’s a fire anywhere inside, the rooms release a special gas and fills the rooms up with foam in order to preserve the footage.

So not even a nuclear fire can erase the Montreal Screwjob from wrestling history. After the smoke has cleared and the world is transformed into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, Paul Heyman will emerge from under a rock to get it all started again.
