This is the crazy moment Thai boxing champion Shahbulat Shamhalaev, 32 was gunned down in the city of Makhachkala in Russia’s south-western Republic of Dagestan.
CCTV caught the whole thing as gunmen entered the restaurant where the MMA star was eating and pulled their guns out and started shooting.

In this shocking scene, you can see how set up the whole ordeal was. As the man in black entered the restaurant, he walked passed a man in blue, who was already in the restaurant sat down. The man in blue immediately followed the man in black and joined the assault.

People in the restaurant run for cover as a series of shots were fired around the small restaurant.
Shamhalaev was taken to hospital, where doctors removed six bullets from his body. The doctors have reported his condition as ‘serious’.
