When Kimbo Slice and Dada 5000 faced off last month in Bellator, it was generally hilarious. Two overweight, out-of-shape heavyweights wheezing all over one another? That’s pure fun.
Then news broke that Dada 5000 had nearly died of multiple heart attacks brought about by the stress of the fight with his tough weight cut down to the 265-pound heavyweight limit. That suddenly made the fight much, much less fun and made Bellator’s freakshow fights seem like a bad idea.
