Here are the choice quotes:

“I don’t see it in July at this point. Ronda did three fights last year. I think she deserves time off. That’s what [UFC president] Dana [White] said, too. So we’ve spoke about that. You know Dana judges things very fairly, and he completely understood.”

That’s a blatant lie but ok. How will she prepare for the rematch with Holm?

“Yeah there was a lot of criticism afterwards about adding a boxing coach. MMA is not a boxing game, but Ronda got caught, and we will be taking advice from boxing trainers. I don’t think it’s going to be a situation about adding a boxing coach, it’s about getting more thoughts from boxing trainers.”

When will she return? He’s vague beyond wanting her to come back after Summer, but insists she’s going to come back.

“You have to get your confidence after a loss, of course, but I’ll tell you something: When Ronda steps in that Octagon, Ronda’s going to put a lot of heart into the fight. Ronda’s going to fight her. Nobody is going to take Ronda’s heart away. Ronda was born a fighter. It’s not going to be like, ‘Oh, we have to work on her again to make sure she has that heart.’ Everybody sees she was chasing, and she was after Holly. Everybody sees that. That’s what makes her so exciting and so amazing to watch. Ronda has the biggest heart any fighter ever will.”

So when will she most likely come back? Find out on the next page.
