Pro MMA Fighter from American Top Team Killed In Shooting

Articles

MMA fighter Aaron Rajman was just in the start of his professional career with a record of 2-2, training out of one of the top gyms at American Top Team in Florida, with nothing but potential. Folks who knew him have had nothing but great things to say about him, and we’re saddened to report that he was killed after being shot by an intruder in his home.

Local police are requesting assistance if anyone knows any additional information about this horrible event.

The MMA world is still in shock after the tragic passing of Tim Hague, and it’s always sad to hear about anyone being killed, not just fighters, but when fighters are attacked or die in the ring, it always hits close to home and has a big impact on their gym.

“I’m just literally at a loss for words. Everyone I talked to is sickened. He was the most humble guy around, he never talked bad about people,” said Dave, a local fight promoter who knew him.

This tragedy comes as teammate Tecia Torres prepares for a fight in a couple of days. She posted the following in memory of her friend:

“A beautiful soul was taken too soon. Today I have a heavy heart with the passing of my friend,” Torres wrote. “I remember when Aaron went out to NC with me and was my only corner at the end of my amateur career. Shortly after I fought on one of his own mma shows and become the #1 amateur fighter at 115. Thank you Aaron for sharing those special moments. I hope this weekend to make you smile and get the W for you. Miss you bud.”

We’re sending out thoughts to the whole team, the friends, family, and everyone who is suffering from this horrible loss of life.
