This guy definitely picked the wrong bank to rob.

When MMA fighter Eric “The Ginja Ninja” Haritakis arrived to deposit some money at the bank, the teller was in a state of shock as she told him that she had just been robbed. Without missing a beat, the brave fighter booked it outside and managed to catch up with the robber and thwart his plans. The Ginja Ninja hog-tied the robber, an unlucky guy named Michael Jon Neubecker, then waited for the police to show up and to take him away. In the security footage below, you can see the robber being taken into police custody.

“He was just so nonchalant about the fact that he just chased down a bank robber,” according to a witness who was working next door to the bank.

Haritakis had his first amateur fight in 2006, and hasn’t had the best time inside of the cage with three stoppages against him according to Sherdog, but being able to stop a bank robber is definitely a huge win.

Sheriff Bob Gualteri was thankful that The Ginja Ninja was able to catch the bad guy, but also warned people against taking vigilante justice into their own hands, warning that no matter how tough you think you are – you can’t stop a bullet.

“I figured if he had a weapon, he probably would have pulled it out at that point,” said Eric Haritakis in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Unlike the town Sheriff, our ginger hero doesn’t think people should just stand around and watch while bad things are happening…

“People just let it happen when, if we all work together, it wouldn’t be happening in the first place,”
