Mayweather Jr. on a possible fight with McGregor: “We are willing to give you $ 15 million”

Boxing

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Conor McGregor said in August 2016 that his fee to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a boxing ring is $ 100 million. It’s been a while, but Floyd finally gave his counter-offer.

Mayweather recently gave an ESPN interview where he talked about how much money he would receive for facing Conor and also revealed what the Irishman would get:

Floyd Mayweather Jr: “Guys, you’ve heard all those rumors about different fighters wanting to take on Floyd Mayweather. Everyone is still talking about Conor McGregor, he is trying to become important. Dana White, UFC, make it happen. Bring him to the boxing world and I’ll show him what this is about.

“We tried to make the fight with Conor McGregor. They know my number. My number is $ 100 million guaranteed. That is my number.”

“We are willing to give you 15 million and in the end we can talk about dividing the percentage of (pay-per-view) sales. But of course, we are the A side. How is it that a subject can talk about doing 20 or 30 Millions if you’ve never made 8 or 9 million in a fight? ”

The only thing I’m probably interested in is the fight with Conor McGregor. I am a businessman, and this makes sense (from the point of view) of business.
