Pacquiao revealed on the broadcast that, yes, he plans to retire. He wants to return to the Philippines, run for Senate and…probably ban contraception and homosexuality (that last part is my guess).
His manager, Bob Arum, definitely seems to think this is the end for him but it’s also entirely possible it was just a ploy to sell us this one fight. There is indeed little reason for Pacquiao to return (unless he can get another crack at Floyd Mayweather, which would be another guaranteed enormous payday) but there’s still a very real possibility he will come back at least one more time.
