Rousimar Palhares is known for three things. His killer leg locks, holding onto his killer leg locks while opponents tap and dumbass referees stand there going “gee, what do I do?” and being HUGE. Well, now that Palhares is out of the MMA business due to his latest suspension (this time for unsportsmanlike conduct after trying to snap Jake Shields’ arm as the ref tried to stop him), he’s apparently going all-in on lifting and BJJ.
Who would’ve thought this guy would get popped for elevate testosterone?
Currently working out for a BJJ match against Garry Tonon in London (which I assume won’t have any drug testing), Palhares has been hitting the freeweights. Hard. He’s bigger than he ever was and that’s a scary, scary sight for Tonon.
He is somehow bigger now than he was here.
