Jon Stewart’s First Job After the Daily Show? Host for WWE SummerSlam!

Wrestling

It’s hard not to wonder what his role with the WWE will be for SummerSlam, of course. Stewart could reasonably be slotted into a variety of positions on the broadcast team, from the pre-show commentary desk alongside Corey Graves and Renee Young, to taking the microphone away from Eden Stiles and doing backstage interviews.

Most likely however, is that he will wind up getting his own lineup of segments, and will work separately from the rest of the standard WWE broadcast team.

Either way, Daily Show fans have something to look forward to this weekend. SummerSlam is likely going to feature a 10-match cart headlined by the return of the Undertaker against Brock Lesnar. In the co-main event, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will take on United States Champion (and general drag on the entire show) John Cena in a match to unify the two titles.
