It’s rare for a fight to be perfectly matched, and sometimes when it is – it ends up being a stalemate like the Woodley vs Wonderboy fights.
Most fights are mismatched to some degree, but at least the fighters are in the same galaxy in terms of skill. Sometimes one guy’s skillset just works great against his opponent and the fight looks easy, but at least you’re dealing with fighters at the pinnacle of their sports.
But sometimes, mismatches are so egregious that you’ve just got to speak up – and that’s exactly what Joe Rogan did after watching a recent Muay Thai fight that ended in a brutal knockout, because one of the guys was much, much, much, much more experienced than the other, and things ended badly.
The Lion Fight twitter account said: “The quickest round house we have ever seen!! Lerdsila showing us why he is a Muay Thai legend!”
