As you might have seen, Holly Holm has been getting the star treatment ever since she took the UFC women’s bantamweight title from Ronda Rousey. When she’s not rubbing elbows with celebrities, she’s getting free tickets to some of the biggest boxing matches of the year and getting ambushed by paparazzi after.

This weekend, Holm was sitting ringside for Miguel Cotto vs. Canelo Alvarez (feel free to check out the results for the match here) and afterwards, spoke about some of her recent experiences, most notably her highly publicized selfie session with top pound-for-pound boxer (assuming he isn’t actually retired) Floyd Mayweather.
So what did Holm say? What were her thoughts on getting approached with Mayweather? What does she think of him?

“It was awesome…just to be able to meet one of the greatest of all time, you know” said Holm. “He’s the only one that’s ever been able to do it undefeated.” What did she have to say about Cotto vs. Canelo? “Awesome. One thing I was hoping about the fight and kind of expecting was a good fight and I feel like it was such a good fight…boxing misses that some times and it was good to just be here and be part of the energy.”

Holm has been incredibly busy since becoming champ, and has had a downright packed schedule. She has appeared on a number of talk shows, both sports and otherwise, and has been featured on everything from “Good Morning America” to “LIVE with Kelly and Michael”.
Here’s hoping she doesn’t fall into the Ronda trap, and manages to stay focused on her next fight.
