Ronda has this bulldog-like tenacity that allows her to handle all of the media obligations, interviews, tough travel schedule, controversy, rumors, and feuds with other athletes and celebrities all in stride. It takes a special person to be able to deal with such a demanding workload, and Brendan Schaub doesn’t think that any other women in the UFC can handle it.
Ronda is such an important figure for women’s MMA because she was single-handedly carrying the entire division on her shoulders, sitting leagues ahead of the competition. Now that she’s been made to look mortal, and Holly Holm is now the queen of women’s MMA, will she be able to carry the torch?
Will she be able to handle the tough schedule and all of the commitments that come along with being champ, while also promoting a big PPV? When it comes to fighting professionally, Holly is more experienced than Ronda, and has a lot more maturity.
