UFC Featherweight Champion Max Holloway was the first man to bring Conor McGregor to a judges’ decision, but Conor scored the unanimous decision victory (UFC Fight Night 26). Some hoped that now that Holloway’s Featherweight Champion, Irishman will return to that division for the rematch, but instead, Max will now defend his belt against former lightweight champion, Frankie Edgar, bout to be held next December 02 at UFC 218.
Holloway gave an interview to FloCombat, where he expressed that he does not believe that the revenge with McGregor becomes a reality:
