We won’t say the name of the shooter, because that’s what the scumbag wanted. But we’ll definitely tell the story of Chris Mintz, the heroic veteran, wrestler, mma fighter, student, and family man who charged the gunman in Oregon on Thursday and helped put an end to the terror.

After serving for 10 years, Chris Mintz had started his college career and was preparing for the next chapter in his life.
According to his aunt, Chris was shot 7 times while trying to protect other students. He was shot in the abdomen, hands, back, and he also suffered two broken legs during the altercation.

When you see someone with a gun opening fire, and your first instinct is to rush them to save as many lives as possible, even when you’re unarmed, there’s not even a word for that kind of bravery.
“We’re not sure how his legs got broken,” said his aunt. “He was on the wrestling team and and he’s done cage-fighting so it does not surprise me that he would act heroically.”
