Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw have a river of bad blood between them. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Cody plans to release a tape of him KO’ing TJ Dillashaw when they used to be training partners and were sparring.
- TJ says the tape doesn’t exist.
- Cody has now also accused TJ of ending Chris Holdsworth’s career with a cheapshot at the gym.
On top of that, there’s been years of animosity between these two and their respective teams and coaches, including Faber and Ludwig. It’s all a big mess, basically, and that’s why Cody and TJ are coaching opposive one another on The Ultimate Fighter.
A bit of a scrap broke out, and previously we’d only seen a split second clip of it. Now, we’ve got the entire scene that shows the context of what happened leading up to this attack, and the aftermath.
Cody says that Dillashaw was getting in his “bubble” of personal space, so he had to take action.
