Who would you like to see GSP fight if he comes back? It’s not a hard argument to say that he deserves the title shot right away, but he’s said in the past that he’s not interested in defending the belt anymore. He doesn’t have anything left to prove. The fact that the WW division has become such a murderer’s row of top contenders since GSP stepped back just goes to show what a dominant champion he was, he cleared out the division and held the crown until he decided to take a break.

Maybe we’ll finally get the GSP vs Silva “superfight” we’ve always wanted. It would still be huge, but each year that passes puts more and more emphasis on the age difference between them. Also, GSP had another knee injury during his time off, so that could effect things too. Silva has still looked good in his last few fights, you can’t hold the Cormier loss against him and he was very close to finishing Bisping who went on to completely destroy Rockhold. It’s too early to say that Anderson is over the hill, and we just don’t know how GSP will look upon his return, so it’s an interesting match up that could definitely finally happen.
