Paulo Balicha is a guy that likes to act on impulse! Balicha is the ex trainer of Shemsi Beqiri, he is a very serious guy indeed. Especially when he decides to raid a gym with around 20 masked men each carrying their own baseball bat..
Paulo Balicha turned up at the Reinach Superpro Sportcenter Beqiri’s gym with one thing on his mind.. a bare knuckle fight with the owner Beqiri.
These guys battled it out with only hand wraps on.
Beqiri told his fighters in the gym to get back and stay out of it. Then both men went at it, in a full out fight with only wraps on their hands.
The two guys fought for several minutes in a violent battle. Balicha took Bequiri down a few times but Bequiri managed to get back to his feet each time. The whole time in this most bizarre incident, the masked men were cheering and shouting instructions like cornermen at a world title fight.
Beqiri, towards the end of the fight, managed to get the upper hand, he had Balicha pinned down on his back and was putting in some nice ground and pound. Throwing elbows and punches to his face.
Watched by 20 masked men with baseball bats and iron piping.
This is when the masked guys with the baseball bats stepped in to intervene and possibly put an end to the fight. This was also the end of the video.
Beqiri claims that Balicha had no honour as he attacked him with brass knuckles on and this is what lead to the spontaneous all out brawl.
Having watched the video a few times, I’m still not able to see if Balicha did in fact have brass knuckles on.
Full contact: Around six people had injuries from the ordeal.
It’s reported that around six people where injured during this attack. Beqiri actually fractured his hand and broke his nose which lead to him missing out on his fight on the Glory 14 card against Murthel Groenhart.
I’ve been informed that because of the statements given and the footage in this video, Balicha was arrested and put into custody.
