Garcia’s opponent for her MMA debut was Tongan professional wrestler Lei’D Tapa. Tapa is best known for being the scariest woman in TNA Impact! Wrestling, and is the niece of former WWF/WCW wrestler The Barbarian (who was half of the Powers of Pain tag team).
This was Gabi Garcia’s opponent at Rizin.

Garcia came in at a huge 6’1″, 216 pounds of angry muscle and sinew while Tapa was 5’11”, 201 pounds. Garcia has long used that size and strength to crush opponents on the mats in BJJ competition, and has 11 gold medals from major grappling competitions (including both ADCC and the BJJ World Championships).
