Dustin Poirier aimed to be the best and in order to do that like anyone else he had to face the best, and that he did. Poirier came in as the underdog at #UFC236 with most fan and MMA commentators having Max Holloway to win the fight by the third round. This was not to be however, Dustin fought through a bloody battle against Max to be crowned the new interim lightweight champion by unanimous decision.
