Dana White is feeling very optimistic.
Ronda’s fight against Holly Holm was already her biggest PPV draw to date, and one of the biggest in UFC history. After the loss, Dana White says that Ronda is actually more famous than she was before fighting Holly Holm because the results had everybody talking. Holly Holm is obviously a lot more famous too, which sets up the rematch to do huge numbers.
He talks about Ronda’s split lip, he talks about when she’ll be making a comeback, and goes on to talk about Jon Jones, Paige, Sage & more. We’ll include the full video, but here are some highlights about Ronda.

“It’s crazy, because you win and lose in the fight game,” White said. “It happens. It’s funny because we were comparing her to Tyson, who had this invincibility. She was a Tyson. It was never more true than when she lost. Because when she lost, everybody was shocked. A hundred million people were talking about it on social media. And I actually think that Ronda Rousey is bigger now after the loss than she was before the fight. And there’s gonna be a rematch.”
Then he said this, while somehow managing to keep a straight face:
“You have to give Ronda the time,” White said. “When Ronda is ready to come back. There’s literally no pressure on her whatsoever to think about anything as far as fighting goes.”
