Dana White gets a lot of hate for being rude to fans, unprofessional, and almost entirely full of shit. None the less, we wouldn’t have the UFC today without him. Behind the scenes, Dana White has actually done a lot of great things for people in need.

A few years ago, a little girl in Thailand named Tuptim, the daughter of a Muay Thai champion named Kru Nai, was very sick and needed a liver transplant in order to save her life.

One of Kru Nai’s former students at Tiger Muay Thai, Ben Pittsley, was frantically trying to raise the money to save Tuptim’s life. He took to the internet, and posted a thread on the UG calling for Dana White to tap into his net worth and pay $50,000 to finance the liver transplant and to save Tuptim’s life. Dana White would go on to refer to this as “One of the greatest things that has ever happened to me!!!!!!!!!!!!” in a message online.
