News broke this past week that Conor McGregor had applied for a boxing license in the state of California, and been granted it.
He also applied for a license in Nevada (where Floyd Mayweather always fights…) and was turned down.
The reason he was turned down in Nevada is because he still owes the commission money for his water-bottle throwing incident.
Dana White recently spoke about Conor having his 145lb belt stripped from him, and made it sound like it was Conor’s idea. However, in previous interviews, Conor has said that the UFC would need an army to try to take away one of his belts, so maybe they came up with some sort of agreement? Maybe there’s something really interesting on the horizon?
Dana also said he has no idea why Conor applied for a boxing license, and that it was surprising news for him just like it was for the rest of us.

Conor still considers himself the double-champ, and is still hyping up a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather, which seems completely preposterous but most things that happened this year have been completely preposterous.
