Conor McGregor being pulled from UFC 200 left many completely shocked and even more disappointed. But Dana wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t him pulling Conor from the event that started it all. It was Conor’s decision to not do the promotional duties.

Dana also wants the fans to know that Conor will fight again, and soon. He isn’t finished and is far from retired. He will fight again and soon.

“We’ll see, what’s next when that plays out. But (UFC) 200 is the fight everybody’s been looking to for a long time. It is what it is. The show’s going to roll on, and Conor will fight again.”

Dana went on to explain how Conor isn’t scared to fight Nate Diaz, he wants to fight him, he chose to fight him.

“This is what we do, this is how it works. I didn’t prevent him from fighting at UFC 200. He knew what the deal was. I told him what the deal is, and he opted to skip the press conference.”

Conor is fun. Conor is a stud. I have a lot of respect for Conor. You have to show up and do the PR. You have to.”
