As the going saga continues between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov with Dana white apparently intervening between the two pro-fighters when things starting to get a bit too hot with McGregor taking aim at Nurmagomedov’s wife and calling here a towel on his twitter account as she was apparently wearing a ceremonial Muslim dress. Apparently realizing his error McGregor has subsequently deleted the tweet. However, we have posted it below to show how the whole situation surrounding Khabib Nurmagomedov’s wife started

Well, it was not long before Khabib Nurmagomedov and his current manager Ali Abdelaziz responded calling “The Notorious” a rapist and telling him justice will find him soon. After things started to heat up further via News and Social Media Dana White issue a statement Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports.

Email excerpt to Yahoo Sports from Dana White

As such, we are taking the necessary steps to reach out to both athlete camps and this situation is being addressed by all parties internally”

Conor Closest Thing To An Apology

It seems Dana White’s intervention between the two seem to have quell things down. At least for now between the two pro-fighters with Conor Issuing this statement via his Twitter account.

McGregor seems to be apologizing to all faiths he does not mention muslins specifically, nor Khabib. However, it is obvious to anyone who has been following the discourse between these two recently that this tweet is indeed referencing Conor allegedly racist tweet he deleted yesterday. McGregor seems to want to save face by not mentioning anyone by name.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has not yet responded or maybe he considers there no need for him to apologize as he did not make any reference to Conor McGregor’s faith or family during their nasty exchanges. However, his manager Ali Abdelaziz wasted no time in seeing Conor tweet as an apology and responded “Good man…”

However, if anything can be taken from the latest exchanges it clear things are still hot and there is high tension between the two fighters with Abdelaziz calling Conor a “Bitch”

See You In The Octagon … Oh by The Way I am Retired

What is more interesting about Conor latest tweet is that he talking about fighting in the octagon (supposedly making reference to UFC) but at the same time, he has announced his retirement recently. Which many in the MMA community and fan think is a fake and their is something either the UFC, McGregor or both are planning. We are yet to find out. However, Conor’s continued cryptic tweets and post only serve to fuel more speculation.
