Conor McGregor Tells he has Learned from LeBron James

Articles

LeBron James is one of the biggest stars of the NBA, for many the biggest one at the moment, since the retirement of Kobe Bryant. And Conor McGregor is one of the UFC’s biggest stars, for many the biggest. Do they have something in common? Many things considering his popularity, money and other “material” issues, as the Irishman has recently called them. And now also in how much they take care of themselves, as also revealed.

During an interview with Tony Robbins, “The Notorious” revealed what he has learned from “The King”.

“For a long time, between the mid to late 20s, when I started to have more wealth, I was fascinated by material things. I bought cars, watches. I’ve already disconnected from that. I realized that I was spending too much money on material things and not on myself”.

I read that LeBron James spends $1.5 million per year on himself. Physiotherapists, masseurs, nutritionists, all that. When I read it I thought: ‘I do not spend anything on that’. When I start a camp for a fight, I gather a team of people, we go to the desert of Las Vegas and we lock ourselves for ten weeks and we do a crazy job”

“I can not continue doing that. I have to be physically well all the time. It is a philosophy that I have recently acquired. I have fallen, my motivation has sometimes failed me, I have missed my commitment. But I’m solving everything.”
