After every event, the athletic commission releases information about fighter injuries and any potential medical suspensions. Chris Weidman was the only fighter who was immediately taken to the hospital after the event, but anyone who was KO’d or faced even a minor injury still needs to be medically cleared before they can compete again.
“Conor McGregor: requires x-ray of left wrist, if positive then must be cleared by doctor or no contest until 06/12”.
