Michael “Venom” Page likes to make this stuff look easy.
He takes the Anderson Silva or Roy Jones Jr style of taunting to the next level by pretty much acting like a wacky inflatable arm guy. He sticks his tongue out, keeps his arms as low as possible, and completely outclasses his opponent.
Michael Page then lands a beautiful tornado kick that ends the fight. Everyone loves a good walk-off KO, and it’s always a gangster look to stop yourself from celebrating and just playing it off cool, but MVP takes it to another level in this fight.
He just… soaks it all in.
MVP has a lot of impressive wins under his belt, as in – they look super impressive. He has yet to be tested against any very high level opponents, but he did land a DEVASTATING win over the male Cyborg. Now that Rory MacDonald is in Bellator, MVP has been positioning himself for that fight, which would be a good match and definitely a huge test. If MVP can beat Rory, we’ll know he’s the real deal and all of the hype is well-deserved, but if getting in there with a high-level opponent leaves him looking like an amateur, well, that’s a different story.
