UFC President Dana White rustled plenty of jimmies during his recent meltdowns on Twitter, but the most disgruntled group of all seemed to be the WWE Universe…including the former champion of both companies, Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate had a lengthy appearance on SportsCenter and, unsurprisingly, Lesnar was asked about his thoughts on White, and his use of the “F-word” when talking with fans.
“Of course, Dana, it’s fake. You’re right. Everybody knows that. But it’s still the same. You’re promoting the same thing we’re promoting,” Lesnar said (thanks to Sherdog.com for transcribing). “Dana White is promoting fights; we’re promoting fights. It just so happens that you can get a little more longevity out of our fight and out of our fighters because of the circumstances. It is a staged arena. Everybody knows that.”
It didn’t end there, though. “Dana, in his defense, is promoting fighting, but it’s the same thing…And I think Vince McMahon is better at it than Dana and that might rub Dana the wrong way. Vince is the pioneer of it. He’s been doing this his whole life, and he’s damn good at it.”
