I’m sure the most disappointed person out there will be McGregor himself, having built up his body for the new weight and pushed himself in training to only hear it’s now all off.
UFC 196 will take place next week, on March 5 at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. This fight card has just lost a lot of it’s appeal now. The other big fight of the night will be the main pull for the PPV numbers.
Disappointed McGregor
The co-main event is a women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Holly Holm and challenger Miesha Tate. An interesting match up as the winner will go on to face Ronda Rousey.
