People often wonder what Nick Diaz says to his opponents in the octagon, besdies “You’re a bitch!”. Carlos Condit was asked what Nick was saying to him. Apparantly after Condit throw a spinning elbow, Nick said “Oh, now we’re doing that spinning shit?” The phrase has kind of stuck, so here’s a look at some of the best spinning shit in gif form.

If you have only seen Uriah’s fights in the UFC and not on The Ultimate Fighter, you might be wondering what the big deal was all about. Before retiring Chris Leben, Uriah was in one of the world fights ever (More of a hug-fest than a fight..), but before that he tore through most of the competition on TUF in devistating fashion. You know it’s a brutal knockout when the whole room is silent, and nobody cheers until they’re applauding your opponent just for still being alive, as were the case on most of Uriah’s fights on TUF. It seems like he’s got the killer instinct back, and after knocking off a guy like Leben, it’ll be exciting if Jekyl Hall or Hyde Hall show up next time.
Michael Page versus Ben Dishman
This one’s from a smaller promotion. Look at the way he just stands there after, doesn’t even flinch when it looks like the dude might still be standing. That’s some savage spinning shit right there.
Jon Jones versus Stephan Bonnar
The very best part of this one is Joe Silva’s reaction, you can see him in between the two fighters as Bonnar falls to the ground.
John Makdessi versus Pat Audinwood
Sometimes they don’t even look like they hurt, he just shrugs it off as if it was any punch from Michael Bisping.

Telegraph much? Andy’s dodging this one before Sonnen even throw it. Speaking of throwing, Chael clearly threw this fight in order to make TUF Brazil 3 against Wanderlei happen. If he was Middleweight champ, there’s no way he could justify the fight against Wandy. Sometimes you’ve just got to follow your heart.
