Bellator Fighter Saul Elizondo Stops 2 Thieves From Robbing a Gas Station

Bantamweight Bellator fighter Saul Elizondo who trains in Albuquerque, NM with Jackson-Wink MMA, found himself right in the middle of a robbery. He was at a Circle K gas station when he spotted two guys giving the clerk a hard time.




Elizondo, who is skilled in Jujitsu amongst other MMA skill, decided to play hero for the day, stepping into the store and stopping the incident from getting any worse.

Saul, 30, told Candace Hopkins for KRQE.com that his fighter instinct kicked in as soon as he walked into the store.

The whole thing was caught on tape. Elizondo spotted the clerk approaching a man and a women in the store as the pair were shoplifting.

The clerk seemed to be in imminent danger, so Saul stepped in to save the day. Practically ushering the pair of thieves out the door. You can see on the footage, one of them takes a swing at Saul but fortunately missed.

“Honestly, it just happened so quickly,” said Elizondo. “It was crazy.
