Umm, okay. Not really sure what that means, but thanks just the same to the Spider for taking the time to send that in. Speaking of the upcoming, hugely anticipated rematch, Anderson is the slight favorite to win over Chris Weidman if you’re going off of Vegas odds. That’s not the only somewhat-surprising thing to happen in Vegas this week, either. Did you hear about Meisha and Ronda spending some… close time together? Full disclusure: We’ve literally never been wrong about a rumor before, so don’t sleep on that one.

Fun Facts about UFC 168

Since Andy’s article was so brief, we decided to include some fun facts leading up to UFC 168.

  • Weidman has had less UFC fights than any other male champion, however Ronda has less fights out of every champion.
  • Anderson Silva avoids 82% of all head shots that are thrown his way.
  • Weidman is tied for 4th place overall for best takedown accuracy in UFC history.
  • Ronda Rousey’s fights only average 1:49 in length.
  • Barnett has finished is opponent in 28 out of his 33 wins.
  • Leben is entering into his fight against Uriah Hall on a 3 fight losing streak, compared to a two-fight losing streak of Hall. It’s probably the end of the road for either fighter if they don’t put on a great show.
  • After the event, Ariel Helwani is expected to receive a special nod as Journalist of the Year in MMA.
