Watch and Listen: UFC Fighter Snaps Opponent’s Jaw

MMA

UFC Fight Night 82 was a fun event. There were some crazy fights, brutal finishes and a really big upset in the main event where Stephen Thompson roughed up Johny Hendricks to become the next in line for a welterweight title shot (well, that’s not actually true yet, but I certainly hope they announce it!).

This was something, too, but actually got beaten out.

The most memorable thing at Fight Night 82, though, didn’t happen at the top of the card. It wasn’t even that vicious flying knee from Diego Rivas that ended Noad Lahat’s night! The most memorable thing that happened at Fight Night 82 was when Misha Cirkunov snapped Alex Nicholson’s jaw out of place. Emphasis on snap.

This vicious crank absolutely destroyed a fighter's jaw.

In the second round of their fight, Cirkunov took Nicholson’s back and went hunting for a rear-naked choke. After a little while, he wasn’t able to sink it in, so he threw Nicholson a curveball by just flat-out crushing his jaw. Worse, the sound of Nicholson’s jaw breaking was picked up by the production team.

Want to see and hear it? Of course you do. Check it out on the next page.
