… It just happens that that guy is Jose Aldo, one of the greatest featherweights of all time, arguably the GOAT in that weight class still.
Jose has been really upset with the UFC lately about their preferential treatment of McGregor by allowing him to hold up the entire featherweight class while taking two fights at 170 and one at 155, meanwhile the featherweight belt has just been on hold. Jose’s frustration is understandably, all he wants to do is avenge that loss to McGregor. After enduring years of trash talk, and just saying he’ll do his talking in the cage instead, Aldo got finished in 13 seconds. That must have been one of the most crushing moments in sports.
Jose was currently the Interim champion, but had talked about retiring recently when he didn’t get a chance to unify the belts against McGregor…
